What We Do

We sell donated new and used building materials and home improvement items.  All proceeds help build the next Habitat home!

Palouse Habitat for Humanity is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, International.  Habitat works with future homeowners to build them a home with a mortgage they can afford.  That mortgage is made affordable through a 0% interest loan (held by the local affiliate) and by keeping building costs lower through the use of volunteer labor.

A significant portion of the funds needed to build each home are raised through our store!

How Can You Help?

Drive the donation truck, or otherwise help with donation pickups.

Much More...

Create displays, organize the store, receive donations, test appliances, etc.

The Sale offers flexible volunteer schedules; you may work as many or as few hours as you like, on a regular schedule or on an occasional basis.  Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and neat work clothes.  We promise a positive and rewarding experience in an upbeat, positive, and friendly atmosphere.  Each volunteer makes an important contribution to our efforts to eliminate poverty housing in Latah & Whitman Counties helping to meet Habitat for Humanity’s goal of assuring that all people have a simple, decent place to live.
